Lekki-Ikoyi Cable Stayed Link Bridge

The Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge is to be one of the first major cable stayed bridges to be built in West Africa. The 1.4km long bridge with a cable stayed pylon of 90m the middle and a full span approach and departing bridge linking admiralty way to Bourdillon road.

It would be nice to see more bridges like this in Nigeria that will have better specifications and features that complement and support advanced infrastructure in the present and future.

However I am concerned about the height of the approach bridge from the mean sea level and how it is going to impact shipping and boat traffic in the area.
